The Functional Release Method™ is an advanced bodywork system I’ve developed and refined over more than a decade of clinical practice. Rooted in orthopedic bodywork, structural integration, myofascial release, and somatic bodywork, it goes beyond temporary relief by addressing hidden patterns of strain, tension, and imbalance that drive pain and limit performance.

Each session begins with functional movement and postural assessments to reveal what’s out of balance. These insights guide the hands-on work — unraveling compensation patterns, releasing restrictions in the fascial system, and restoring alignment. Somatic bodywork supports nervous system balance and can help release emotions stored in the body. Specific corrective exercises may also be recommended to strengthen weak areas and integrate the changes more fully.

By working through multiple layers and fascial chains, the method helps resolve pain, restore mobility, improve posture, enhance circulation, and bring the body back into balance.
